When Marilyn first reached out to me a few months ago, she shared something that instantly made me even more excited about our session—she used to take portraits herself and had even met the legendary Sue Bryce from The Portrait Masters and Sue Bryce Education! If you’re not familiar with Sue, she’s an incredible photographer whose online classes and workshops have influenced my own approach to lighting, headshots and branding photography. So when I heard that Marilyn had met her many years ago, I knew our session was going to be something special!

After receiving Marilyn's answers to my client questionnaire, I could already envision her branding shoot coming together. We focused primarily on white sets to match the sleek, professional look of Marilyn's website and brand. The simplicity of the background really allowed her personality and expertise to shine through, while keeping everything fresh, modern, and aligned with her branding.
