One of the best parts of being a photographer in Moore County is watching clients grow and succeed over the years. Lori Van Etten is the perfect example. I first photographed Lori seven years ago when she was just starting her real estate journey. At the time, she was building the foundation for what has now become a thriving career.
Fast forward to today—Lori is the owner of her own company, Van Etten Real Estate, and she recently came back into the studio for a branding session to refresh her marketing presence.

Why Branding Sessions Matter
In today’s world, your first impression often happens online. Whether it’s LinkedIn, Instagram, or your company website, professional branding images give potential clients confidence and trust in your business. For Lori, these photos weren’t just about a new headshot—they were about creating a cohesive look across all of her marketing channels. From clean, modern headshots on a pure white background to lifestyle branding images that highlight her approachable and professional personality, every detail was designed to represent her brand authentically.

The Makana Photography Experience
At Makana Photography, I specialize in helping business owners, entrepreneurs, and real estate professionals elevate their personal brand. My downtown Carthage studio inside the Tyson Sinclair Building is set up for both classic headshots and lifestyle branding sessions. I guide clients every step of the way—from posing that feels natural to lighting setups that flatter and showcase confidence. Many clients, like Lori, bring props or elements from their business to make their branding session unique and tailored to their marketing needs.

Why Choose Me for Your Branding Session
After years of working with local professionals, I know what it takes to create imagery that works across platforms—whether you need LinkedIn headshots, Instagram content, or photos for real estate marketing. My goal is simple: to create professional images that make you stand out in your field. Just like Lori, you’ll walk away with photos that don’t just look great, but also work hard for your business.
If you’re a business owner, real estate agent, or entrepreneur in Moore County looking to update your headshots or create a full set of branding materials, let’s talk. Investing in professional photography is one of the smartest moves you can make for your brand—and I’d love to help you take that step.
The images you see in this post are a collage of the photos from Lori’s proof gallery—the full collection she used to make her final selections. As you can tell, we created four unique sets with three different outfits, all photographed in my lifestyle room. This variety gave Lori a wide range of professional images to use across her brand and marketing platforms.
