Downtown Southern Pines Headshots and some info about posing

Leigh is a realtor that just moved to the Sandhills and is starting with a local real estate company soon. She needed updated headshots and branding pictures for the company's website as well as her own social media, website and business cards. We met downtown Southern Pines and went though a variety of poses, angles and backgrounds.

What makes for a successful headshot session? To make your headshot stand out from the crowd, it's important that you feel confident in the way you look. If you're great at doing your own makeup, go for it! If you're a little more challenged ( like me for example, I know how to braid my hair and how to use eyeliner, and that's the extend of it), I can recommend a handful of amazing hair and makeup artists that can make you look your best and really shine! When booking a session with me, I always send out an outfit guide and how- to- prepare for your session guide, that way you know what to expect and to do on your end to make sure that you're images turn out great. Posing is just as important as the right outfit. There are a variety of poses for different body types and looks that I set up during headshot sessions to make sure we get a variety of looks and to give you plenty choices for your final image selection.
