My husband's headshot session

I am so excited to be writing today's blog post. I am not a blogger by any means. In fact, I very much dislike writing about myself and no matter how hard I try, I cannot make it sound cool or awesome. But today, it's different. Because I can write about my amazing husband of 12 years instead of about myself. My husband is in the process of switching careers. He has been in the military for more than half his life, and this is the only life with him that I have ever known. We met when he was stationed in Germany in 2002, moved to beautiful Pinehurst, NC in 2009 and that's where we've been ever since. We're not getting any younger ( and I admit, I still feel like I'm in my early 30s, but whenever someone calls me ma'am, I realize that that is not the case anymore), and the time has finally come where he is looking into a different career path. And what better way to get the job hunt going than with setting up a fun headshot session ( well, more fun for me than for him- he doesn't neccessarily enjoy it when I photograph him- yes, I have overdone it in the past 16 years that I've known him- but I love it!). He needed updated images for an upcoming career seminar, and I had the best time photographing him. Headshots are supposed to show a person’s character and personality and they are most often used for business, modeling, or blogging purposes. I have been working with a lot of local realtors and small business owners over the past years, and I just love doing headshots. We did multiple lighting setups, different poses and an outfit change. And yes, he also shaved.
